Finished Series Feelings

I am officially finished with the To Catch a Rebel Series. Three years, three books. I can't wait for you all to see how Aria's journey ends.

Writing the last book was bittersweet, to say the least. It was the book I had the most trouble with and the same time the book I had the most fun with.

I was always torn between wanting to get it done so I could put it behind me and move on to other things and not wanting to let go of those characters and that story. Real talk, the amount of time I've spent psychoanalyzing just Aria is too much to admit.

The hardest part about getting the book out there was interestingly enough editing and not because I find editing difficult in any way but rather because of a lot of outside stuff. I had very little motivation to finish the book while I was trying to find my way in a new country while dealing with intense homesickness but I pulled through eventually by taking a lot of steps back which was helpful to the story.

So in the end I'm ecstatic at having a finished series under my belt. What's next you may ask? Well, I'm not completely done with Xavia yet but right now I'm working on a fantasy book, so I'll you updated on that end.
