Hey there guys,
What a wild ride time this year, like all years but this one seems especially so. Perhaps we are coming to the end of another decade (what!). This the first decade I have been alive for the whole thing (I'm a 2001-er) and I'm really hopeful for what the next decade has in store. I know this time has been rife with crisis after crisis, atrocities, a resurgence of hate and uncertainty when it comes to climate and the future, but there have been people standing up for these causes, making their voices heard for the voiceless and inspiring others to follow. I hope that this activism continues on into the new decade and that we can all bring about some positive change.
Now onto what I said this post was about: top of 10 books that I've read this year. I think this year was the year that I read the most books, especially during my commutes to college and with the great thing that is called audio-books, I could get into a good story even while I was working on a project. So without further ado here are my top ten books from 2019.
1. War Storm by Victoria Aveyard: The final book in the Red Queen series.
2. Crown's Fate by Evelynn Skye
3. By Your Side by Kasie West
4. The Fates Divide by Veronica Roth
5. Allegiant by Veronica Roth (seeing the trend with series finales?)
6. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Mass
7. Dracula by Bram Stoker
8. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
9. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
10. Franky In Love by David Yoon
What were your favorite books of 2019, whether they came out this year or that you just chanced to pick up? See you guys soon.
Precious.
