Writing and an announcement...

Hi all,

We are at the start of a new month. For some, the summer holidays are coming to a close and for others, it's still a bit of a stretch (thankfully or unthankfully). I hope you're all keeping well before the holiday ends.

Today I want to talk to you about writing funnily enough because I am a writer, and whether I'm considered good or not (always improving) it's what I love to do. I remember when I finished "To Catch a Rebel" and I told some of my friends about my book coming out I got a boatload of questions. "How long did it take?", "Where did you get the idea?", "How did you plan it?", and sometimes it was kind of hard to explain one particular source of my planning process. Now I've got more of a set structure, before I googled what aspect I wanted and went to about five different sites, such as Masterclass, Writers digest, Novel Now or K.M Weiland. It's only recently I got into the writing community on Instagram which is great help and fun. It's actually inspired by a rap our English teacher made us listen to when we learning how to write short stories in class, which is aptly called "The short Story Rap". I took the main features; plot, character, conflict, and theme and expanded on them so people could have a simple guide to approach writing fiction, whether they have a clear idea, a bunch of ideas, or are still at the brainstorming process.
