Hello there, welcome to this week's post. I hope you've been enjoying the weather (whatever it is where you are) and are trying to keep on keeping on, despite all the craziness in the world today. I think situations like what's happening in Lebanon and the pandemic, in general, remind us of our own mortality, remind us that our actions can have consequences and that we can even see the best of humanity in these times.
Today, I just wanted to make a list of everything I've learned in my life up til now and I'd be very worried if at this age I'd only learned 19 things, but these are what I've found are the most important.
Things do work together for good eventually.
Surround yourself with those who can help better you.
Love makes you stronger.
Fear holds you back from doing great things.
Sometimes waking up in the morning can be an achievement.
A deep breath (or two) can do wonders.
Live under one audience.
Plans may fail, but it doesn't make you a failure.
Learn from the past, but don't dwell in it.
Mothers do usually know best.
No one can know you better than yourself and God.
Taking care of yourself is a must.
Don't be afraid of achieving too much.
Practice does help.
A broken relationship doesn't mean a bad one, maybe it was a bad time.
Distance doesn't mean they don't care.
You are enough.
Your thoughts direct your life.
Enjoy every moment you can.
Those are some of the most important lessons that have helped me and I hope will continue to help me in life. What lessons in life have you learned? Is it more than 19? I hope you enjoy the rest of the week and I'll talk to you next week.
